Workshop "English Zone"

* Some points that Ts should notice:
- Divide groups (keep in mind): peers, normal students & weak ones.
- Interaction: T - Ss, Ss - Ss, Ss - T.
- Comprehension of Ss. (objectives)
- Time management.

* Steps

1. Dialogue + Voc --> Topic --> context (generate)
2. Language zone
Example --> Rules
Rules ---> Example (Deductive way)
Rules should be clear and steady.
- find reason to link the point.
- Ts ask question first, go our way, let the Ss open the book at the very last minute.
3. Skill zone --> Listening, Speaking, Writing & Reading.
4. Situation --> Productive skill --> Produce something (Dialogue or Writing)
Study Skill.
Review Skill zone (practice) in L3.
Make sure that Ss understand well.
Practise 4 - 5 contexts with similarity.
5. Culture zone 
Think about their own culture --> comparison or project.

Difference: Book --> Context.
FF 1-4: Voc --> Dialogue.
FF 5-6: Dialogue--> Voc.

Languages are repeated naturally.

* Test
Good students: assign extra tasks.
Define Ss who are good at Language or Skill to encourage them.
No forever pair.
Focus on Normal Ss group.

* Notes:

* Ss with learning disability: at the end of TB

* No difficult Voc, just easy and new, even new pronunciation.

* Notice channels that Ss are concerned

* Encourage Ss to make question, Ss has question bank.

* Preparation build confidence.

* Correction: Varify Ts, Ss, Friends.

Repitition is the key for everything.

Workshop "Aim well"

Teaching without objective is like playing darts but you don't know where the circles are!




 1. Read Teacher book and Understand

2. Set SMART objectives
S: Specific
M: Measurable
A: Achievable
R: Realistic (not too much)
T: Time bound

3. Example: Playway
Objective: Learn Voc related to body parts.
Outcomes: 
- Ss are able to pronounce correctly the words
- Ss are able to read words
- Ss can associate sounds of new words.

4. Steps for a lesson
Warm up - Context setting - Study - Practice - Wrap -up


   KEEP THE TRAIN ON TRACK - be consistent
